Fireplace Makeover
Here is an example of an old factory-built fireplace that due to its design did not deliver much heat. The masonry cultured rock was also out of date. The fireplace and masonry was removed and a brand new Gas fireplace was installed decorative operable door.
Before applying new stone face we equipped the wall in high quality speakers and cable hook-ups. The speakers which were later painted to match the rock and are hardly visible are serving the flat screen installed above the fireplace.
From an ugly and dark wood-burner into a fresh high-tech Gas unit the transformation was completed in 1 week.

Fireplace Makeover
If it wasn't for the local firefighters, this Tahoma home would burned down in the middle of the night. The cause was a Country wood-burning insert improperly installed into a factory built fireplace. Tahoe Chimney & Fireplace first had to remove both the fireplace and the insert, reframe and rebuilt the wall. That made room for an installation of this beautiful, high efficiency wood burning Napoleon Fireplace NZ 3000 and Duratech Chimney components. After the Unit was secured, we coordinated Otis Kantz Masonry to deliver the facade bringing this living room back to life!

Count3Fireplace Makeover
A typical story of a neglected masonry fireplace. The outside masonry was never properly protected from moisture. Water intrusion penetrating through the bricks over the years and ruined the integrity of the structure. Water has also made it all the way into the fireplace causing severe corrosion. The fireplace was not safe to use any more and had to go. The face and the outside was rebuilt to make an alcove with a jack arch for a new freestanding wood stove.

Caps & Covers
These chimneys needed help and they needed it now. Without a solid water barrier these chimney were soaking up moisture like a sponge and being slowly but firmly destroyed by it. Brick falling of the roof are never a good sign. We repaired the masonry and applied the caps to protect the interior of the flues and chimney covers to protect the exterior.
